ADHD coaching questions, answered clearly

A quick overview of who coaching is for, how sessions work and where you can meet.

What can ADHD coaching help with?

ADHD coaching can help you develop practical approaches to planning, prioritising, starting tasks, managing time, regulating emotions and following through. Sessions focus on your current goals and the systems that fit your life.

Do I need a formal ADHD diagnosis?

No. You can work with Neuro Thrive Coach if you have an ADHD diagnosis, are waiting for an assessment, or identify with ADHD traits and neurodivergent thinking patterns.

Are sessions online or in person?

Online coaching is available across the UK. In-person sessions are available within approximately 25 miles of Canterbury, Kent, subject to location and availability.

Is ADHD coaching the same as therapy?

No. Coaching is present- and future-focused and does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions. It can complement, but does not replace, medical care or therapy.

Can Access to Work fund ADHD coaching?

If ADHD or another condition affects your work, you may be eligible for an Access to Work grant. The Department for Work and Pensions decides eligibility and the support awarded; funding is not guaranteed.
